Now, now I'm kinda pissed.
May. 16th, 2007 11:28 pmFor a few months, my hearing has comparatively sucked. It wasn't up to my standards of hearing. I had a few colds, a little congestion, and the weather was weird, and I noticed that I couldn't hear as well as I should.
Well, one adapts. Among other things, I got to the point where I couldn't hear background noise that much at all. Didn't really notice, though.
In the past two weeks, my hearing has suddenly gone back to what I suspect it's normally at. Which is fine, I *like* to hear everything - but my comprehension has, accordingly, gone way down. I hear everything people are saying, but I don't understand them anymore, and it's really annoying. I can't tell, but I think this is how I heard before - I just can't understand what I'm hearing at the moment, either because I'm not used to it anymore (please!) or because things are working a bit funny right now (which I hope isn't the case, because if that *is* the case, there's no guarantee it'll fix itself the same way it got broken in the first place) and either way, right now, it really sucks.
