Right on. Straight people who care at all about their gay friends and family members (or who care at all about decency and justice even if they don't personally know anyone who's gay) have a moral obligation to stand up and speak out for their rights.

Thanks for posting this - I'm re-posting it and e-mailing a copy to my elected representatives. Not that I think they'll read it, but... yeah.
