The baby was here (Jenn promises to start scanning in pictures again so you can see more of her. I want an icon for me with the baby in it, and one for Jenn with both, and I'm pre-emptively declaring this so) earlier. I babysat while Jenn cleaned. We didn't go to Seth's rather belated Christening because we had no idea where it was. Sorry.
Before Jenn left, I said good-bye to them, and asked Evangeline - "Clap, baby!"
And she paused, blinked - and clapped.
Okay. She does like to clap, that could be a coincidence. So after she stopped, we sprung it on her again - "Clap!"
And she did, grinning to beat the band.
Did this once more, clapping on cue.
Gotta say, even if it's entirely a coincidence, she is one smart little baby.
(She also played with a paper bag, pouncing on it. Yea, verily, babies are like unto cats.)
