conulySo, yesterday I visited the post office - and found out that my package had almost certainly been returned to sender. However, as a reward for *not* trying to break through the three inches of plexiglass to confirm this for myself (and really, what good would that have done? Would my package have magically appeared? Or would I only have hurt my hands and ended up arrested? Hm....), the nice guy at the desk gave me his supervisor's number to call in the morning.
And I did, and was told... oh, nope, shipped out yesterday (the hell? I could've had it if I'd shown up a few hours earlier?), sorry. Next time, call us to redeliver, don't leave the note on the door, that's really unreliable. (Well, in retrospect, that's incredibly obvious, thanks.) But as a reward for not yelling at me, I'll sound really apologetic about it.

mayna her compensation. Just in case it never showed, as it... uh... never did. So, mayna, $20 is winging its way to you even as we speak. Heck, it may even get there before the box. When you have both in hand, if you'd be so kind as to return the box promptly to the post office and mail it back, I'd be delighted.
I feel really, really annoyed right now. And kinda dumb - I should've trekked there earlier instead of waiting so long. I just put it off because I *really* don't like talking to people sometimes. And look where that got me. I've learned a lesson. God knows if I'll profit by it.
