speaking of asperger, this entry in the hip_domestics had asperger's mentioned in the comments, so I thought of you since you've posted articles/links about it before. the OP's situation made me really mad and sad at the same time, but I have no advice to add to what's already been suggested since I don't know all that much on it, but perhaps you might know more about what she could possibly do. :\
Years ago I read something about raw foodists, and it was pretty interesting. The article I read covered everything from raw veggie/fruit eaters to people that ate mostly raw meat (including roadkill!), but I don't think I could do it - I'd have a hard enough time going vegan, but to miss out on breads and fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies and all that stuff would make me one sad person! :P
This kind of made me cringe. I had to take a Food Safety and Sanitation course and test on it when I was an assistant manager at a fast food restaurant, and the kind of stuff that crawls around in foods kept between 40-140°F is frightening.
I think it'd really have to boost the immune system A LOT to fight off the E.coli, botulism, salmonella, etc. *shudder* Raw vegetable, sure...but raw meat? Nuh uh.
Raw food diets are becoming a bit more popular, however, everything sounds way too kitchen intensive for someone who hates to cook. LOL!
All that weighing, measuring, bulking up with ground nuts, and processing foods & all that junk? No thanks. It's hard enough to get a meal going around here with one full-fledged vegetarian in the house and the rest omnivores.
When I was growing up, my mom never cooked anything worthwhile and liked to fry steaks in an iron skillet! Blasphemy! She salted tossed salads & used to burn us out on new recipes she'd get from people, and none of them ever tasted good.
You'd think, growing up in that house that I'd want to go the opposite direction & learn to whip up gourmet stuff, but I've no interest in food at all. I don't want to think about food, and don't really give a thought to planning meals---it's too much work, and then there's the mess to clean.
I'm fine with cracking open a can of tuna for tuna salad sandwiches for dinner.
My husband insists on MEALS and MEALTIME so there is no way sandwiches will ever suffice for dinner. Since I'm forced to do something in which I have NO interest, I hate it even more.
The planet needs people like you to keep things interesting and keep recipes flowing because people like me will venture out once in awhile & make something new, but we won't like doing it! LOL

I wish I could help, but I don't know enough about how to deal with school stupidity, alas.

I, personally, love to cook. I get inspired and end up running to the store to get cilantro to make dinner, that sort of thing. Very fun, mihi.

If he's the one who wants real dinners, why doesn't he cook them?
