Okay, look you...

Stop picking on us!

Liking Wesley Crusher is nothing to be ashamed about. Okay, yeah, Wil Wheaton is gay, and sure he doesn't look that good as Wil Wheaton, but when he's wearing that Star Trek uniform...

SO STOP MAKING FUN OF IT! *cries*

Incidentally, why on earth is it that when he left this show, his mom never ONCE spoke up and said "Gee, I wonder what Wesley is doing?". She just moved on with her life in the VERY NEXT EPISODE.

And, anyone else notice he was in the last movie? Besides me and 'dul? He was there! The whole movie! Sitting in his seat on the bridge! He just never said anything and nobody commented on it.

Oh wait I'm lost or I didn't understood all your post :o

I thought that Will Wheaton was married with kids?

And concerning Nemesis, I remember him at the wedding party but I paid attention to whom was on the bridge (I'm a Bryan Singer fan, so I didn't wanted to miss him...), but I can't figure where Wesley was on the bridge!!! I really DIDN'T saw him on the bridge!!! And I paid attention!!!!

*nods* That or he just likes to mess with his readers' heads.

I always liked the character too, though granted, I was the target demographic at the time.

Yeah, I thought that was weird. The whole Wesley-being-there-thing-with-no-lines-and-absolutely-no-mention-as-to-what-he's-been-up-to-since-he-left-to-join-the-traveler.

And he totally looked like he was photoshopped into that wedding party. :)

I never saw Nemesis so I can't say anything on it.

I would say that as an actor, he wasn't much liked and that could be the reason that everyone moved on so quickly (it happens) but I don't think so. Thanks for proving me not crazy, I was wondering the same thing.

Wil Wheaton is either bi or hetero...

At least, past direct observance of Wil and his then-girlfriend-now-wife would seem to suggest so. Either that, or he's a spectacular actor!

Geeks move in overlapping and incestuous social circles. We were apparently at the same gathering and, despite having been a serious Trekker for most of my adolescence, I failed to recognize him. I only talk to the folks to whom I'm introduced, a partygoing subset which included neither Wil nor his SO. Someone clued me in after the fact.

Which, I suppose, is just as well. I'm socially backwards enough when I'm not starstruck. :-D

BTW, his blog is here (http://www.wilwheaton.net/).
