So she's a female elected official...who doesn't think women should vote or hold government office.

I mean, it's one thing to be a private citizen and think that, but she's in government!

You know, I just watched Stepford Wives, and went "phew, life's not so bad!" and then saw this. >.>

She seems to think that if men protected women adequately, then women wouldn't need to work or vote, but because men don't, women do. So, her solution is to take away the vote from women, while in no way requiring men to make sure to protect women's needs or rights. Brilliant.

Does this mean that her husband is really the one representing everybody in her area because she is merely a reflection of his beliefs and can't have her own?
