You'd rather trap and release the 'possums in the attic than kill them, even if it means living through The Noises In The Attic.

And I have no idea why 1) you added me as a friend in the first place, or 2) why you didn't filter this post.

There are many other things I have no idea about, but I'm used to that.

And we do have heat, but the radiator in my room... doesn't work. Or it does, but only when we've had heat in the rest of the house for a while. This suits me well enough most of the time, actually.

As for 'dul... *giggles* I'll tell him you said I adore him. If by "adore" you mean "pelt with water and pillows whenever possible", you're completely right. I never win those fights, alas.

We're dirt poor. The mortgage is $1000+ a month, Mr. Winston doesn't even pay that in rent (when he pays, which is a separate issue), and my mom makes under $50k a year. And my tuition, mustn't forget that.

Oh, and the difference between an apartment and a condo? You rent an apartment, you own a condo (but it's in a building, it's not a house).

See, I know at least one person in my area (Texas) who is paying a mortgage on something that he describes as 'an apartment' (though I've never clarified the matter with him) and one other who pays rent on a condo . . . though, thinking back on conversations I've had with him, he may be subletting.

Well that's good. I'm not even sure I have an attic, so I'm always interested in other people's attics. Basements are good too.

Hah, this is interesting. You talk more about politics and issues and intellectual thigns more than your personal life.

I think the most I have gained is that you mostly use public transportation when going places and are aware of the cultures and structures around you.

The most I know about in your personal life (though you know I'm not as drawn to this part of your life as most people are, heehee) are your young niece and nephew and some of the issues surrounding their mothers and families. You've taken note on their developments and have interacted with them in many ways and have tried to find ways and things to encourage their developments. :-) That's really kewl.

As for the moral obligations, I just don't like seeing dead animals. I eat 'em, but only once they don't look like animals anymore. I'm such a hypocrite. *sniffles*
