*gags*

Well, I'm a bit PMSy (it's the most wonderful time... of the month!) and, having no midol, decided to take an aspirin.

It got stuck. I swallowed it and it didn't go all the way down, and then it must've dissolved and GAH that stuff is NASTY.

That was an hour ago. I still can taste it. I remember reading once an article that said that if you were having a heart attack you shouldn't just take an aspirin, you should chew five or six of them on the way to the hospital. They must've been kidding. There is no way, no fucking way I would do that. *shudders*

Aspro Clear is a wonderful thing.

I hate aspirin tablets.

Did it say why? Seems kinda odd...

Things that are IN your mouth (specifically, under your tongue) are absorbed into the bloodstream more quickly than things it your stomach.

Honestly, if it weren't for the god-awful taste, I'd take all meds this way, simply because I don't have to wait the 15-20 minutes for them to pass through my stomach to begin the absorbtion process. (3-4 is MUCH better than 15-20.)

It's possible that if you were actually having a heart attack and in danger of dying, you might feel a bit more amiable about aspirin consumption. =D

Well, I trust you, but I'd think it very sad. I'd rather have a nasty taste for a few hours than a rather permanent death. However, it's a matter I've given some thought to, because (barring car accidents and the like), I will probably die of a heart attack (runs in my family).

I can see it now:

Poor Conuly. All she had to do to live was *sniffle* chew some asprin, but, but, she couldn't *snibble* because it *sob* tasted too bad. *weep for Conuly*

...I am also trying not to laugh at you, because every pill I take tends to wedge itself for a time in my throat before goiong down. wee!

But I won't because I like you.

*does so* hee.

does this mean I'm off the list?

also: well, I'll just hope that you don't have a heart attack. Does your family tend to them?

aaah.

Boy I hope that means something good.

Mine leans to high pressure and such. wee!
