Note to self: Must update self-censor. It's not working properly

Got a handout in English. I can't just say it, I can't even just think it. I shout it out:

"Oh, god, not Comic sans!"

*pause*

Professor: What?
Me: *thinking: oops... * Um... the font?
Professor: Well, I like that font.
Me: *headdesk*

It also seems to be the Official Font of the Brooklyn College Library.

I need to get one of those stickers for my laptop. That'd be nice.

I think "Comic Sans" is the official font of educators everywhere.

When I was teaching (I only did that for one year) several teachers emailed me copies of assignments and handouts that they'd created - most of them were in Comic Sans. I hate Comic Sans. I systematically changed EVERY document to Arial.

Just as friendly and non-threatening, and infinitely less irritating.

Get the T-shirt and wear it to school.
Muahahaha.

It was on a site someone posted somewhere on your journal. Ban Comic Sans, maybe?

I want that shirt. ;)

If it makes you feel better, I loathe Comic Sans with a burning passion as well.

You also like that book about the steam-shovel which is transformed from a mighty digging machine of construction with nearly infinite freedom of motion to a pathic, immobile furnace, forever trapped in the basement.

To me, Comic Sans sounds like "baby talk." Fonts have accents when I read them, Comic Sans just happens to be Baby Talk.

I like Comic Sans too. However, I do have to agree that there are places where it just doesn't fit.

Could be worse. The head of our department uses comic sans as his font of coice all the time. nicluding in the department newslettera nd for preparing reports to university council. So when they asked for a new name for the newsletter i suggested "the offical newsletter of the evil empiee of comic sans" i came second in the voting.

of courset then they changed the news letter from an attached word doc to an attched pdf so i cant even change the #$%^&* font.
