Note to self: Must update self-censor. It's not working properly
Got a handout in English. I can't just say it, I can't even just think it. I shout it out:
"Oh, god, not Comic sans!"
*pause*
Professor: What?
Me: *thinking: oops... * Um... the font?
Professor: Well, I like that font.
Me: *headdesk*
It also seems to be the Official Font of the Brooklyn College Library.
I need to get one of those stickers for my laptop. That'd be nice.

When I was teaching (I only did that for one year) several teachers emailed me copies of assignments and handouts that they'd created - most of them were in Comic Sans. I hate Comic Sans. I systematically changed EVERY document to Arial.
Just as friendly and non-threatening, and infinitely less irritating.

Muahahaha.
It was on a site someone posted somewhere on your journal. Ban Comic Sans, maybe?
I want that shirt. ;)

To me, Comic Sans sounds like "baby talk." Fonts have accents when I read them, Comic Sans just happens to be Baby Talk.

Nothing's a bother to read after you've shopped at the Grocery Store from Hell. All their signs are in playbill, god knows why.

1. It's your journal. Not a class, nothing that should look professional.
2. I can change my default font so that everything appears in whichever font *I've* picked. Not so in class, for stuff that I get on paper.
