And once again, children die because their parents are stupid.

Who the fuck leaves a TODDLER and a PRESCHOOLER alone in a car, much less one that's still on?

God damn, I hope these people get charged.

I do have a slightly non-solemn question to ask:

Firefighters covered their small bodies with bright blue blankets. A group of firefighters formed a circle, wiping away tears. One woman sobbed as she rocked back and forth near one of the bodies.

When did a tragic news event become a chance to practice descriptive writing skills? This isn't a piece of literature here.

It would appear that journalist is only reporting news because he/she cannot get anyone to buy his/her manuscript. LOL!

I hope those parents get charged, too. I don't understand how people can leave kids in the car, and why it seems to happen more often in the past 10 years.

It's not all that descriptive. Small bodies, bright blue blankets. At least they weren't "brushing bitter saltwater from their stricken orbs."

And if it's true, why not write it? Does it improve the article to leave out the woman sobbing and rocking herself back and forth? I think it makes it a little more real. It's poignant, so maybe it'll catch in someone's memory, and that way someone will always remember the ones who died.

This just confirms my belief that people are stupid, lazy and impatient.

Yes, I'm generalizing. No, I don't care if anyone disagrees. I'm tired and my entire body aches.

Oh, it's one of those so called "human interest stories". Some people like to read about how much others suffer and that sort of description is just what they like. Bad enough.

That journalism is pathetic. Sure it tell us the main facts. Two children killed and how they died, but it doesn't tell us the reaction of the fuckwit who left these children in the car. I think that a sentence to tell us whether or not the authorites were pressing charges for neglect would be appropriate.

All bickering aside though, this is a tragic accident and I wouldn't want to change places with any of the people involved.
