This sort of thing happens pretty often, though it could be worse. I used to regularly slice my fingers when chopping veggies and now it hardly ever gets that bad. Just nails.

(And I’ve always been one of those people who isn’t bothered by horror films or real-life blood and guts, but now I seem to have morphed into someone who can deal with anything *but* the cosmetic, surface ick!)
