Nobody is that interested in hard boiled eggs here
which is a pity, because I love dying eggs. So when Jenn told me she was going to add eggs to her salad more often, I ran right out to get the egg kits!
Me: Hey, sweetie, how many eggs do you want to dye?
Angel: Um, six?
Me: Wow.
Angel: Four? Wait, is that a lot?
Me: Let me put this into context. Yesterday, I purchased 54 eggs.
Angel: Oh.
Me: Sooooo, we're dying eggs!
Mommy: You must be kidding. Who's gonna look for them!?
Me: Um, Jenn?
Mommy: Makes sense. Well, just make sure you remember where you put them all. You remember that one year...
Me: I do. I do remember that one year.

Hard-boiled eggs can be deviled, turned into egg salad, used as a topping whether minced or sliced. They make a good pack snack as long as peeling them isn't an issue.
Wax resist or wrapping in onion skins are two methods.
