Why I'm taking 18 credits this term.

There's an LJ community for brooklyn college. Not much going on there, but people post their schedules. One person, taking 12 credits, said something about how she's the only one who "doesn't want to rush through college". Other people commented on how my four classes last summer was "a lot for the summer".

I can't take summer vacation. When I do, I end up having a huge trouble starting class again. Every time there's a break during the school year (winter, spring, whatever), I spend at least three weeks afterwards being depressed - and a lot of times this is the point where I fuck up my classes. Last year I *never* recovered from winter break. I spent very nearly all of spring break in my room.

Four classes might be a lot for the summer, but I got very nearly all As (one A-). I do better with a lot of classes. Haven't the slightest idea why, but that fact and the fact that I messed up last year, Big Time, is why I'm taking as full a schedule as possible this term. Let's see how it turns out.

There's no point to this. I'm just talking

That would probably be because you're not good at transitioning.
This is why I'm looking at getting some vacation care for Brad so he has something like an enforced routine in the holidays.
Otherwise he gets too dificult to handle.

I don't think those reasons are... separated?(Cannot find word I want.)

Independent? (Took me ages to work out which syllable I was missing from that.)

Not what I want but that one will do, thanks. :-)

How long does it take you to commute to school? By car or public transport? I'm considering applying there instead of readmission to college of SI.

Driving in presents the problems of parking and paying the obscene bridge toll.

It sounds like an identical commute to when I worked in downtown Brooklyn. Getting up at 5am was horrendous but the ferry ride at dawn was beautiful.

Hmm... For me, I get really depressed from the day I realize the school year is coming to an end (usually about a month). As you can guess, this really fucks up my grades. Then I start getting excited and revved up as soon as I realize school is starting again, and I do really well at the beginning of the school year.
