Oh, and here's the criteria:

Write a paper in which you defend cultural relativism against James Rachels' criticism of this theory in "Morality is Not Relative." In your paper you should do the following. First, clearly explain what the issue is over the status of moral truths. Second, clearly explain the three theories of moral truths: objectivism, cultural relativism, and subjective relativism. Third, clearly state the cultural difference argument in support of cultural relativism. Fourht, clearly explain Rachels' objection to the cultural difference argument. And fifth, clearly explain how a cultural relativist (such as yourself) could reasonable (sic) respond to Rachel's (sic) objection.

You must use appropriate quotations from the text to illustrate and support your ideas.

Well, crap. This guy HAS no appropriate quotations. He's completely unquotable! Seriously. *sighs*

Agreed. I had to do a paper on James Rachels' my freshman year and it was one of the biggest wastes of my time in college. No joke!

See, this is why I couldn't hack it in college. PAPERS. I don't even know what a "cultural relativism" IS. Nor do I know who James Rachels is.

When I was 16 and my parents kicked me out, I dropped out of High School with a 3.0 GPA, and it would have been more, had I applied myself, but I joined the dark side. Heh.

I know I'm not stupid...me and school...we just don't get along. It's much too structured. I mean...would you believe me if I told you I failed English my Junior year in High School with a 15%? *sigh*

My teacher flunked me because I was bored to tears with what she wanted me to read, so instead, I sat in the back of the class and wrote poetry...

...and got an A on the final. Oh, the irony. I hate school with a burning, fiery passion, but if there's something I WANT to learn, I'll get on the internet and learn it in a matter of days.

This is why I admire people like you, people who can actually succeed in school.

Hey, at least you're trying. School downright frightens me. :)
