I'm having trouble deciding which is more perplexing...
the fact that CVS sells pumpkin spice cough drops... or the existence of Yankee Candle Monopoly.
I do believe that branded Monopoly has gone a step too far.

Not sure where that poor lost little 'the' creeped in, but there are enough of 'em running around that it'd be like trying to identify where one particular stray cat came from.

Though the person I heard about it from got it because "You like boardgames, and she likes candles, right?"

Yankee Candle has gone too far as well.

The candle-branded Monopoly is just, well, perplexing is nearing understatement.

Where does the Mountain Lodge go? (I have not actually smelled this, but the tumblr-sphere swears by it)

I had a friend who never lost of a game of Monopoly in his entire life (although he stopped playing in his early twenties). That may have something to do with why I dislike the game, since I played with him a lot. But there's something weird about it. It's intriguing and annoying all at the same time. And probably the weirdest set of rules for such a widely played game. If it were released today, it would get the worst ratings.

PS cough drops are at least somewhat understandable, given Americans' deplorable tendency to add pumpkin spice to the damnedest things.
