(no subject)

Having the song "Rubber Duckie" (from Sesame Street) stuck in your head is bad. Having the song "Unclefucker" (from South Park) stuck in your head is bad. Having both of them stuck in your head at the same time is very bad....

Unclefucker, you're the one! You make bedtime lots of fun!

*groans*

Maybe if I scream loudly these demons will leave my brain in peace.

Oh...man...

that is quite possibly the most hilarious thing I have heard all day. XD

Err, not that the songs are stuck in your head, of course, just that particular juxtaposition of lyrics...

Thank you for a wonderful laugh :)

*coffee snorts* I've never heard either but now I've got the words from an earlier comment stuck in my head.

Every so often the Chubby Brown song, Santa where's me fuckin' bike, pops into my head and sticks there for a while. Not the sort of thing you want to sing out loud...lol

lol - I'd never heard of that until I saw it on LJ and it also got stuck.

The worst I can remember (or the most memorable) was having Every Sperm is Sacred in my head during a biology lesson on reproduction, and the end of the Manic Street Preachers' song Miss Europa Disco Dancer during an exam. Just the end.

The bit where it goes "braindead motherfuckers" over and over and over. And over.

That was fun :0P

You need to check out the Wiggles and the Hooley Dooleys.

"There she goes down the track, choo, choo, choo-choo-choo ...
Train, train, train on the railway, train, train, train on the railway - toot toot - toot toot."

Wait until she's two, it only gets worse. They do the hand gestures and dances too. Not to mention developing an Australian accent and correcting everyone's English - "It's dence, not darnce, Mum." ::shudders:: Like Eddie the elephant in the Maisy vids is actually "Addie, mum!"

The best way to get songs unstuck:

Visualize a white room filled with songlyrics and either vacuum them up or paint over them, all the while singing bits of other songs in your head, switching every ten seconds so as not to give the other songs a chance to creep back in. Be sure to throw jingle bells in as frequently as you can stand -- it's the best for distracting your attention from other songs. You wouldn't want to just singe jingle bells, though, as it is probably just as unpleasant, especially if you know all of the little kid variations about batman and such.

It could be worse, you could have the 'badger dance' song stuck in your head for an extended period of time too...(mumbles to myself," Stupid Mushrooms!...Damn Snakes")
