Oh, and I finally finished Mario RPG. Well, I didn't get all the surprise boxes yet, and I haven't killed Culex, but I killed Smithy, so.... It only took me a few days once I managed to save it.

You need the Star Egg to kill Culex. Just equip the princess with the strongest armor, don't worry about keeping the other two alive, and have her use the Star Egg over and over again. It takes a long time but you get, uh... I forget what, but you do get the satisfaction of having killed a Final Fantasy character.

Well, I have the star egg. Damn, that was annoying to get, and I just sold my bright card in a fit of vengeance.

Oh, and I don't have the consecutive jump prizes either. Dangit!

That sounds like taking all the fun out of it though. I don't think I ever managed to get the star egg, but I've beaten Culex many times. Quite fun. Now I want to go play that game again...

I love the star egg. 100 damage to every enemy, which sucks when you have just one out, but is great when they've multiplied to 5 or 6 or so.

How do you get it?

First, you find the knife guy in booster's tower, after you've rescued the princess. You play his juggling game, and after a certain number of wins he gives you a bright card. Then you go to bean valley. In one of the pipes RIGHT BEFORE the similax, there's a chomp. Kill the chomp, jump up three times where it was, and an entrance to Grate Guy's Casino opens. Go into the casino (you need the bright card to enter) and talk to Grate Guy. After you've won his game 100 times (or so says the guide, it just seemed like a damn lot to me), he gives you the star egg.

Sounds easy enough. I'll have to try that next time I play. I'm currently sucked into Pokemon Colosseum's story mode, so it may be awhile. Because I have way to many video games I've been meaning to play.
