God, this person just does NOT give up!

And s/he is one serious-ass troll, too. One would think that anybody with sense would realize that disease is not caused by bad behaviour but by microscopic organisms, but apparently this person never got the memo.

Whoa shit that was long. Sorry I didn't read it all, but the inital post was idiotic. I don't see why people can just accept gay people for who they are...There is no reason to be against them. It's like saying, I don't like cheese because it melts in the sun.

They say they don't melt in your HAND, not in the SUN.

:P

Why would you be leaving them in your hand that long without eating them?

[identity profile] xiggaroo.livejournal.com 2004-03-01 11:51 am (UTC)(link)
THANK you! :D

...holding the extras while you obsessively sort and count the colours, and then eat them two at a time...?

That's what I do, at least. Which is why I don't eat them. Too messy and inconvenient. I'd rather have toast.

This is one of the key points in my argument that the sun is evil!

[identity profile] feathered.livejournal.com 2004-03-01 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I agree that sun is evil. I'm rather vampiric in my sensitivity to light. However, M&M's would melt in your hands indoors as well as out, due to body heat. At least, mine do.

[identity profile] dandelion.livejournal.com 2004-03-02 08:22 am (UTC)(link)
Mmm, toast with lemon curd and marmalade- have you tried that?

[identity profile] maladaptive.livejournal.com 2004-03-01 11:23 am (UTC)(link)
By that logic, lesbians should be able to get married. They have the LOWEST instance of HIV and AIDs, so therefore their getting married would obviously lower insurance costs.

Tralala, yay for lesbians!

[identity profile] maladaptive.livejournal.com 2004-03-01 11:39 am (UTC)(link)
That was the other thing I wanted to mention, but as you'd said it already I figured it would be silly to say it in one of your own comments.

I love how banning people from getting married will cause AIDs to go down. Um? Married people don't have sex? News to me....

[identity profile] maladaptive.livejournal.com 2004-03-01 12:38 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, I did too. It didn't even register. Woopsies.

Same-sex marriage probably won't have any effect at all on the rate of HIV/AIDS on the population. One can have sex without marriage. One can have marriage without sex.

And as I pointed out to the troll, and as has been pointed out in earlier comments to your post, women who have sex exclusively with women have the lowest rate of HIV anywhere. Therefore, using his insane troll logic, lesbians should be allowed to marry.

[identity profile] black-rat.livejournal.com 2004-03-01 01:34 pm (UTC)(link)
It's wierd, but women can't pass on the AIDS virus.

Anyway, I'm going to vote for troll. I mean, no one can be that thick headed.

The part about MLK being a racist made me laugh though.

From what I was studying at 6 am last night/this morning/whatever, they can. Through sharing needles and giving it to their babies through either brest milk or just having birth, along with unprotected sex. I've never heard anything about the virus being one gender exclusive.

But I could be wrong. I don't think I am though.

Meh, sillies like them should get over themselves and find a clue. After what she said about MLK, I had no hope for her though. *rolls eyes*
