Remember yesterday's link about the Girl with the Board?

Jenn saw the link, and asked if I knew what sort technology that was, how it worked. Honestly, I didn't. But later, scrolling through the person's journal, I came across a link they had posted, to this FAQ. I assume that this is at least roughly how Schuyler's talkboard works.

And, let me tell you, this is fascinating. Learn something new every day, and sometimes what you're learning is way cool.

I had actually been wondering if it was something like this: http://www.blissymbolics.us/

I discovered it when trying to speed up my note-taking for the federal interpreting exam. I mostly only use the basic symbols, though, I don't usually combine them, and I use letters to differentiate the meanings when I have time (like K for know, T for think, B for believe, U for understand, all under the MIND symbol).
