Freaking peachy keen. He was still murdered because his parents wanted to believe eronous informaiton bandied about by cure it now idiots. If that doctor doesnt lose his licence and do time for manslaughter thers somethign very veyr wrong here, ESPICALY if it was a drug mix up.
Do you *really* expect anybody to go to jail over this? I'd be stunned if any sentences greater than a year are handed out, and even that'll bowl me over.
Prescription mix-ups are a scary thing... They're all too easy to happen, despite the pharmacist's best tries. My mom had it happen to her once, took the wrong medicine, and realized it was very much not working. Turns out she had the exact *opposite* of whatever was needed (think blood thinner vs. blood thicker). She says that when she went back to the pharmacist his face was ashen and he was very visibly upset....
He was in the doctor's office - no pharamcist. Any error is on the doctor's part.
As for the rest of it... I don't have the time, energy, or patience to get into The Chelation Argument with you. Basically, my position is that it'd be better to give snake oil - it'd do as much good, and with a much lower risk-and-cost.
That was brusque, and I apologise. It's not as though I've had that argument with you 100000 times before. I just... don't have the energy at this point.
