Oh, incidentally, a congrats to Lizziey...
I know it's hard to restart, but I think it is the right thing to try to breastfeed again, so, here's my congrats-you're-great post. *nods*
Moving on to more general things, I was watching Ana the other day, and she crawled over to the wall, put her hands on it, and stood up. Pretty normal, nothing to get excited about, both she and Seth have been pulling up for AGES now. But I was watching her when it hit me. These babies are eight months old. Four months ago, neither of them could pull up, and they couldn't crawl either. And four months before that, they were nearly interchangeable little blobs. Yet here we are today, and they're mini-people, with skills. All it took was eight months, and you don't even notice the changes until you stop and think. They can think now, at least a little, but when they were born, their thoughts were pretty much limited to "I don't feel good, let me cry until I feel better", and then "I feel hungry" or "I feel wet" or "I feel cold" or "I feel sick", but I don't think they were able to do anything like they can now in their minds.
I mean, Seth, when we gave him his new stacking cups, immediately started to take them apart and stack them! Nobody had to show him. When one was upside down, he turned it rightside up. He thought about it. Ana wanted to put her toy on top of a box, but she wasn't able to reach it, so she sat down and put it up before standing up again. She thought about it. It's stunning. It's absolutely amazing. And yet, it's so completely normal as to bear no mention from anyone, ever, when it happens to them.
*blushes*
Okay, I'm a little over-enthused. Right. Bye all!
Oh, and for the curious, the white baby is Seth, the black (biracial) one is Ana. AND I WANT NEW PICCIES, DAMMIT!

You could've said the one in pink is Ana, and the other is Seth, seeing as how Liz is so adverse to dressing him in the dreaded colour. :P
And I want new piccies too! I haven't seen them in so long! I'll make icccccoooonnnssss. :P
