GUH? WHA? BWA?
If you've been following this, you know that she had a gun to his head. She'd been trying to kill him for months. She was also trying to kill somebody else at this point, his roommate, who'd stumbled in.
Siccing the robot on her was wise and smart. It's not that she's a girl, it's that she's a cold-blooded killer and death is on the line. Yeah, she's beaten up - it's called self-defense. The two of them are still walking, talking, and substantially uninjured. He didn't exactly ask his roommate's robot to go above and beyond. I mean, duh.
Stupid line.
Also: I think I've overdosed on italics. The whole world's gone slanty and emphatic. Cool.
