Proving a point...

Piccies deleted! I figured if she's not come by now, she's not coming, and I *hate* stealing bandwidth.

Incidentally, if anyone else can fix the transparency (that IS the right word, right?) on any of these icons for me (and her), I'd be happy. The ones I liked are mostly just "reminds me of a time", "my two cents", and "ripped from my heart", amabo te.

They look white to me...

The first one looks like it's definitely supposed to be transparent, but you're right, it's white.

The second I'm not too sure if it's supposed to be transparent in the first place, as the words appear in the white. Then again, I'm not a l337 animator or PSP/PhotoShop h4xx0r, so I can't say it'd be easy to make the area with the words transparent or if that's even possible anyway. Whatever the case, it's white.

Same with the third one, as I'm not sure if it would work correctly if transparent. Like the second, it's white anyway. Since there's no border, this one is probably supposed to be transparent.

Now, the fourth I'm thinking isn't supposed to be transparent in the first place. There's a black border, and the words in the white spaces...I'm not sure it'd be all too easy to make it transparent with a font like that.

*shrugs* They look nice, at least, and that two cents one would be damn useful.

I took the 'Reminds me of a Time' icon and tried to make it transparent, but there is a problem. Only .gif (and .png) formats can support transparency, but by doing so, some quality is lost. I can still send the icon to you if you'd like.

I also created a .png copy, but the problem is that some older web browsers can't view it. The .png is much, much nicer.

::grumbles:: Photoshop is being a pain, and I have no idea why. I'll get you that icon as soon as Photoshop straightens up and works correctly. For whatever reason, it keeps loading the icon as though it were an entirely different version of it - even when I save the icon from scratch with an entirely different file name. Grr.
