Weird.. I've never noticed anything like that. Certainly there's a lot of price difference between stores (I know a shoe sales site that consistently marks their shoes up by $100 or more) but for the same site? Is that only for places that don't have their prices listed up front? I never buy if they don't.
One of the examples given was amazon. I imagine that it does have the price listed up front - but that this price changes depending on what you've been doing.
Well it sounds like it's partially cookie based (at least, I think that's what they meant by "electronic marker" or whatever it was they said.) So browse unlogged in your secondary browser (with cookies deleted) then log in with your primary browser and cookies intact.
