Those adware companies have been petitioning anti-spyware firms to delist their software; other companies have resorted to sending cease-and-desist letters that threaten legal action.

Because God forbid people have a right to knowing what's on their computer. I'm waiting for adware to become illegal. It fucking should be.

And that is why you use multiple programs. :P I'm particularly annoyed that Lavasoft is one of the ones doing it, because it's always been recommended to me as one of the best programs out there.
