I'm a little curious about something...

How could the first American autism diagnosis have been in 1931 when autism wasn't even identified for another decade?

Yeah. That's what I thought.

(I also find it interesting that autism diagnoses increased during the same decade when the definition of autism changed. Weird coincidence, that. Those two things can't be at all related, can they?)
