I just realized that if I build up a smallish CD collection, I can start using the "music" slot on my entries. That'll be something new. *resolves to stop buying anabooks*

I can't imagine not having tons of CDs or listening to music all of the time. What sort of music do you like? If you are very picky with music, you might not enjoy mix CDs so much, but I love hearing new music so I think they're among the best things ever. Requesting mix CDs is always a great way to acquire music.
But usually CD players make their own background noise which makes them really irritating to even have plugged in. It really took me a while to realize that my computer comes with a CD player I can use.
Murrm mix cds might be a good idea. you could ask us, the adoring subject masses to send cds... that is if you have a nice secure postbox somewhere. no need to give stalkers stalkerbait afterall :)
