In good news...

I just realized that if I build up a smallish CD collection, I can start using the "music" slot on my entries. That'll be something new. *resolves to stop buying anabooks*

If you love music like I do, it will go far beyond "smallish".

What kind of music do you like anyway? *curious*

She's told me that she doesn't have a favorite, but doesn't really dislike any. That might be wrong, now, though.

Con, didn't you favor some "cleaning" CD of Jenn's? Who/what was that? And have you ever listened to those CDs I brought you? ;)

that's...one of the strangest trains of thought i've ever heard on the topic of expanding one's music collection.

although, hell, there's plenty of ways to fill that slot that don't involve spending money.

Like Griphus says, there are lots of ways to get music. My favourite is demanding mix CDs from my friends. Fun on all sides!

I can't imagine not having tons of CDs or listening to music all of the time. What sort of music do you like? If you are very picky with music, you might not enjoy mix CDs so much, but I love hearing new music so I think they're among the best things ever. Requesting mix CDs is always a great way to acquire music.

I'm confused -- I never said anything about CD players at all. Not sure why that got a response while my comment on mix CDs didn't...?

Murrm mix cds might be a good idea. you could ask us, the adoring subject masses to send cds... that is if you have a nice secure postbox somewhere. no need to give stalkers stalkerbait afterall :)

Next year, I might get myself a subscription to Napster, so I'd be able to download as much mu-zak as you want. :)

It's only fifteen bucks a month!
