Ana broke my glasses. Snapped the frames. I *like* these glasses, and I'm half blind without them. They're *barely* holding together. Ana can play by herself until her parents get home. Shouldn't be too long, so it's not as bad as it sounds.

No, I agree. Perhaps it was a tad harsh, but 1) I'm sure that this decision was as you insist for the best, and 2) children are extremely resiliant. I'm sure that she'll bounce back from any anger she feels toward you for this in no time.
