Good news from Conneticut.

YAY! Stole this from... um... I don't know, one of the oh-so-lib'rul comms.

Civil unions were supported by 56 percent of registered voters, while 53 percent opposed marriage for same-sex couples... The telephone poll... had an error margin of 3 percentage points.

I always giggle when the error margin of anything is the actual spread for whichever two statistics are reported. Don't know why.

Yay! Now we just have to wait for the other 49 states to follow suit.......

actually, more like 47, seeing as VT has had civil unions for years now, and MA legalized gay marriage last year, though i think there's another challenge to it going on. and CA is almost there ... almost!

Oh, yeah. I saw that when I brought in the paper this morning. :D

Can't wait to hear about it from my boyfriend's dad, though. He's one of those dummies that was offended by the United Church of Christ commercials. *rolls eyes*
