So, I'm sitting here listening to Ana sob.

To hear her tell it, I'm just the meanest auntie around. First, I *brushed her hair*, and then I *brought he to the living room, which is full of her toys*.

If she doesn't shut up soon, I'm going to be forced to take drastic measures. For example, standing with her in front of the light switch.

On the subject of hair, I pulled it back in one ponytail, but now she's got wisps where her bangs would be if she had bangs. It looks a bit messy, but I have no idea how to fix it. Help?

Edit: She's napping. Again. Her sleep is messed up because she's sick, that's why she's so tired and miserable. Poor baby. *hugs*

I've learned pigtails always work good on babies. My niece had the smallest bit of hair, but whenever she saw her cousin's (who has a full head of hair)hair up, she would beg to have hers up. They made the tiniest little tufts of hair, but she was happy.

It's okay. I take no offense. I get panicky and snappy when I stress too.

If you have wisps, you need hairgel or mousse...and failing that, water does the job for a few hours.

Do you think she'd let you put some small barettes in to keep the wisps back?

Eh, matching is overrated anyway. :)

That does sound rather adorable :0) Did you not have one black elastic and one purple elastic?

I was figuring that if you can't do an exact match, go for a deliberate contrast.

Of course, I don't see what's wrong with wisps in the first place... ;0)

That girl is more co-ordinated than I currently am.
