While we're on the subject, I've been wondering forever - what's Djusk'a? Is it just some oddly spelled version of the French jusqu'a, or something else?

It's Walloon. Not French a'tall. Means "until". I've got a Walloon-Walloon dictionary in my link list, if you're interested.

So, in lieu of that, I point to Casey and Andy (http://www.galactanet.com/comic/index.htm) a web comic about two dysfunctional mad scientists who have brought about, if not the end of the world, at least the end of several square miles (usually also including themselves) multiple times.
