So, I just watched Monsters, Inc. again.

Question. Where are Boo's parents? Don't they worry when their daughter is mysteriously gone for an entire day (or more)? Are we expected to believe that they don't even move after they get her back, that things just go back to normal?

Time operates differently in different dimensions, maybe?

My thoughts too. I figured that whatever happened in Monsterworld could have taken place in Boo's dreams - like an alternate reality.

Mkes me think of the Gaiman-edited book I just finished, The Sandman: Book of Dreams (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0380817705/qid=1108791331/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/002-6008413-9582426?v=glance&s=books). Lots of stuff like that in there...

Suspension of disbelief?

*smiles* That was my thought.

I think the time's just different, and she's gone at night and gets back just before morning. *shrug*

I think that would make sense, because when they returned her Sully tucked her in and it was all dark outside and etc...

I love these questions you think up. ^_^

What about Monsters, Inc.'s connection to Little Monsters (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097758/)? :)
