*giggles*

So, we all got nifty calendar/bookmarks in my Intro to Women's Studies class. Not only are they printed in everybody's favorite font, Comic Sans (which is quite a design choice when you're talking about spouse abuse and genital mutilation), but they misspelled the name of their own address. Ingergoll. Should be Ingersoll.

I mean, really. If you can't afford to proofread your own work....

Oh, that's so wrong. On so many levels.

Fuckin' A, I hate Comic Sans.

They use Comic Sans so that it makes things easier to read. Not everyone has an brain compasity of a ameoba. I prefer Courier New myself-but they could at least have got the spelling right before they gave things out.

I actually like Garamond. It's all good for reports and things and it just looks nice.

But now I want a scan of this mispelling. so I can laugh at it more.

When our head of department started to show a marked attachmetn for comic sans, i printed up big comic sans fonted signs that said "Welcome to the Evil Comic Sans Empire"
I also sugested that the intra ofice newsletter title be changed to "Offical Newsletter of the Evil Comic Sans empire"

Amazing how a few not so anonomous sugestions from the known aspie member of staff can make.

I like comic sans...for some things. It's good if you're writing stuff for kids, for example. It is not appropriate for essays, lab reports, or anything with serious subject matter.

Is this quotable? I want to put it into my quotes collection.
