How not??

Let's just start with the whole budget thing, it was starting to crash at the end of Clinton's last term. And what he was actually doing when he had a shot at taking Saddamm out of power.

I have more, please don't make me pull out more.

Since when does "improving moral values" fall into the job description of President?

Maybe people are just in denial and don't want to admit that they re-elected a crappy president.

[identity profile] nobodysangeltbd.livejournal.com 2005-01-18 02:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Because the President is supposed to be looked on as an example for the rest of the nation and therefore needs to comply with the common moral standards of how people think he should be.

Thats almost as scary as this morning, when I heard that there was a town on Pennslyvania that voted to teach creationism as a viable alternative to the Darwinian Theory.
Apparently 61% of Americans believe that creationism is real.
*dies*
(Disclaimer: I only heard it on the news, I can't vouch for the numbers. It can't be *that* high.)

I must admit I'm not particularly imclined to believe 1000 (sorry, 1007, that's so many more) people can be taken as representative of a population of 294 million, but maybe that's just me.
