Today's strange comment....

"I want a laptop, but don't they stop working after three years?"

I tried to explain why that just wasn't so, but I don't think I got through to him. Alas.

Tell him no, the laptop will work fine for many years.

Looks like a way to save vetrinary bills if you want to get your pet neutered, in light of what I've been hearing about laptops lately!

My notebook was manufactured in 1998. Alas, I've owned it for 6 months only... (bought it used)

It's dying already, but then again, all my hardware is, including the light bulbs. ;]
