Very depressing article.

Of course, I don't have the economic knowledge to know how accurate it is or isn't. *grumbles*

All the same, I guess it's time to *actually* move. Somewhere. Anywhere. Scotland, they let you hang around for two years after you leave school, to work. And isn't it usually easier to become a permanent resident of a country if you started with a school visa...? Well, that's what I've been told, anyway.

Eh... I'm afraid that if America's economy collapses, wherever you might decide to move will most likely be affected too.

It's odd to read about the immense amounts of debt that people have, considering that I, my family, and my immediate acquaintances (at least, those I'm close enough to for us to discuss finances) carry no debt whatsoever.

It takes only a few of us to bring an average down, which means that the numbers for the actual debtors must be much, much higher.
