As usual, it's not to anybody's real benefit - the comments pages load slower, you can't view the archives unless you pay up, and the jury-rigged RSS feeds have all broken (they broke their own RSS feeds a while back). Hopefully that last, at least, will mostly fix itself - I can't live without my daily Calvin and Hobbes, now with added Spanish!
