Good book, though I didn't really attend to it. I was too busy watching the spectacle outside. Apparently, it takes three cops nowadays to give a ticket. To a bicyclist. They're checking IDs, too, if you're biking along and breaking traffic laws, so all my bicyclist friends should be warned.

isnt it pathetic how bad it is getting? next, it will be commonplace to get a beating and maybe a few tazings and pepper sprayings after having the audacity to not fully stop at a stop sign. fucking pigs.

Well, seriously, I've thought for a long time that people on bikes need to follow traffic laws. I just never expected that it'd take three cops to give out a ticket.

true, you are correct in that. i just think that was ludicrous as well. and i am seeing more and more cases of police "abuse" and i do use the term lightly at this time, may "overrepresentation" or "overpresence" or even "overresponse" are better words. i have also seen them go crazy with no provocation at protests. i am talking crazy with stun guns, batons, wooden bullets (that seriously injure people) tear gas, crazy shit!
