Yeah, just starting to shop this weekend at our Holiday Market. Although, to be honest, most of 'em are just getting pottery. And they know not to expect the presents before, oh, Epiphany, because we're working right up to 4 pm Christmas Eve.

Books are good! I got a few photo technique books for Michelle to go with her new gear.

I mean I also got her chocolates but that's because I like to spoil her.

Books are always a safe bet in this house (and at my parents' house)!

Books are most of the presents in this house. Mostly second-hand, too. As my dad says, if I'm going to spend more money on him, he'd prefer it went to cheese.

After wrestling with a couple bottles and cans and wrapping paper, I vowed that next year everyone gets something cuboidal. Probably a book.

WoB have done rather well out of me this year, but if they will sell for £2.50 what Amazon charge £25 for, and then have 4 for the price of 3 on pretty much everything, and then if I spend £1 more I get free postage rather than it being £4.99, and then I'm entitled to another freebie...
