Oh, honestly!

I don't care that Biden pardoned his son, seriously. As far as nepotism goes, this is relatively a non-event.

But what I do care about is that so many other people who are just as deserving of pardon haven't been. Fuck that fucking shit.

Good! I didn't read about that as I'm mostly avoiding news these days, but I'm glad. Most of the things that Hunter did would have resulted in very minimal sentences or fines.

I'm so with you on this. Dump was selling pardons when he was president, and pardoned his son-in-laws father. And the MAGAts elected a felon, so they don't have a leg to stand on.

Yes! Heck, what are we gonna do, not vote for Biden in outrage? He could pardon everyone! Anyone! Leonard Peltier, even!

It would be a great wonder to engage in all the pardons that need it, and especially now, since someone can shout at him about being "soft on crime" and he can reply "take that up with my successor."

I suspect he won't, though, because of so many members of the party that will complain about pardons making them seem "soft on crime."

Biden seriously needs to

Demand deep background checks on all these people Trump is trying to pull in. It will gum up the works.
He also needs to pass multiple things to slow Trump down - things that Trump will stop to dismantle like he did with Obama. He spent easily 2 years undoing everything instead of pushing forward most of his ideas.
Now he's coming in armed with ideas and a plan - Biden needs to protect us with the very same red tape.
