Guys! My red currant has little berries!
Also, a plant identifier said that the vine I don’t know what it is is most likely black currant, which I can see Mommy planting, or a grape, which I can’t. So we’ll see.
It also said the ragweed probably isn’t, but the important thing is it gives me a rash and takes over and I hate it and it needs to go, not whether I’m right in my identification!

I've never had any because they are illegal in North Carolina, apparently due to an outdated panic over white pine blister rust. Ditto gooseberries. From the little reading i just did, sounds like they'd do well on my lot in all the shade.

I didn't know black currant even grew in North America with any reliability!

There are apparently a few vining cultivars, though really, I'm not sure this is it. I should try this app on plants I know what they are, see how accurate it is.

Re black currant: I did not know about the ban! Makes sense, if it's a non-native invasive.
