Worked the primaries

And I say "worked" but what I really did was sit there trying not to fall asleep during the hours of 5am to 9pm. I did take a nap during my second break, and that helped, but small wonder I collapsed into bed when I got home for good!

The few people who showed up all commented on the shiny, shiny floor, same as in November. It is indeed a very shiny floor.

Cool! That is basically how it went for me when I was a poll worker as well. I'm signed up to do it again this year, but our primary isn't until June.

Thanks for stepping up. I helped in my county, too, and it's often a thankless job.

Thank you for doing this! ^_^

Given what an outsized effect US policy decisions have on the whole planet,

doing this doesn't just benefit US residents, but everyone on Earth.

Big expanses of shiny floor feel so civic.

I applaud you for stepping up and doing this!
