Found that kitten!

Stupid thing kept me up half the night screaming.

Well, I didn't find it. Some kids did. Heard them talking (not yelling, talking) from my window, ran to check it out. They were all the way down the block. Man, sometimes I curse my hearing.

Good thing I have it, though. If they can't keep it, they were going to put it back where they found it. And this is one sick kitten. I told them to try me or Ms. Marian if their mom (as I suspect) puts her foot down. I can certainly house a kitten for the day or so it'll take to drop it off at the vet. Um. Don't tell *my* mom I said that.

Will do. They haven't come back, though, so maybe they were allowed to keep it. I'm surprised, most parents wouldn't take a stray, a sick stray, just like that.
