Huh.

Some time ago, I accidentally scalded or burned my left ring finger slightly.

I don't even remember when this happened or how, but after a while I did notice that this one particular mark wasn't healing quite as fast as I'd thought it should.

Which is a bit weird, but as it doesn't hurt I didn't care that much. Except today I poured out some pasta, got hit with the steam, went "Ow, hot hot hot hot hot!" for a while, and then just now - guys, I think I've just been rescalding that finger every time I pour out boiling water for tea or coffee or after making hard boiled eggs or whatever. But never enough to do more than discomfort me, which is how I haven't noticed. Because, gosh, the injury is slightly newer now than it was this morning.

Squeeze some of the gel out of an aloe very leaf, and dab it lightly on the burned area, it'll stop hurting sooner than if you don't treat it.
