I'm on the Poetry Foundation "Poem of the Day" email list
and often they have a little note in the email explaining why that day's poem was chosen.
The note for today's poem states that today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. It occurs to me that they might have to field some ridiculous complaint emails, because transphobes gonna transphobe, so I'm now trying to word a non-complaint email.
So far I've got "Thank you for mentioning the Transgender Day of Remembrance and its significance in today's email" and I might stop there.

That's why I posted here, so anybody else could send in an email of support if they wanted!
I decided to basically just stop where I said in the post. I did consider mentioning that I have many transgender and nonbinary friends and at least one relative, but decided against it. I shouldn't need to have a special reason for basic human decency, and I like to think that actually I'd support transgender rights no matter what.

Actually, iirc I think I posted before I bothered searching for their contact page.
