Ho-hum.

I went ahead and made my test comm. While I do, technically, have ample comms to play around with, I'm mostly afraid to fuck too much with the settings. But I don't anticipate this ever being large or active.

Anyway, mod-people of [livejournal.com profile] asperger, I think that we just need a nice place to 1. make sure we're not working with two different sets of rules and 2. make sure we know who's not getting back in, because it'd be a crying shame if [livejournal.com profile] synapticknob's plan had worked simply because somebody was ignorant. Just a place to post "hey, this person is banned" is useful. So I think I invited everyone to [livejournal.com profile] aspiemodcomm. The invite would be here.

That is all.

I got a notification of Synapticknob's attempted re-entry, but no invite to [livejournal.com profile] aspiemodcomm... try reinviting me?

Y'know, LJ really ought to make that link more obvious...

Same as [livejournal.com profile] codeman38...no invite here either! :(

Ah, so *that* explains it... *wanders off to find the community invite page*

Oh -- and I can't remember whether I answered earlier or not, but you can see who is a "maintainer" on a community by looking at the membership list. There will be three columns of checkboxes: first one is to indicate if person is a member, second indicates posting ability, and third is whether the person is part of the maintenance crew or not. :-)

Actually, it's more because I'm overloading trying to deal with a fuckwitroll over at one of the discussion lists. (Check out my latest post in my LJ for an unbelievable quote from the little nitwit.)

Seriously, I never would have even known that link existed had [livejournal.com profile] conuly not pointed it out. It's linked in about the most unintuitive place possible-- you have to actually click on "manage" in the menu bar to get there, as it's not in anything available from the pop-up menu...
