Idea!

For years, if I lost something, my mother would tell me "Well, if it started walking it must be halfway to Jersey by now". And she was right! This is clearly where all my shirts have gone! By now, they've probably set up a commune devoted to clean living and freedom. In their spare time, they no doubt conduct raids to help liberate their sock, hat, scarf, and oh yes shirt brethren from bondage to humans. It's all so clear!

We will fight for clothing freedom
And hold our *untranslatable noun* high!
We will run free, up in Buffalo
Or die!

Shirts undone!

According to a Kate Bush song, her mother used to have a cool saying, "Every old sock meets an old shoe."

Makes ya wonder what old shirts meet when they depart our company.
