Today I am posting in the past

This is, I recognize, a departure from my usual habit of posting in the future, but I've been tired and haven't posted anything at all.

To make up for the lack of links these past few days, take an unreasonably cute strip from [syndicated profile] phoebeandherunicorn_feed. Everybody prance now!

I feel rather sorry for snakes. They're cool animals and they get such a bad rap.

Over here we associate Solari boards with railway stations rather than airports, but there's the same nostalgia. The major station that I pass through on my way to work and back was the last big railway station in London to have one.

And we've got a big invasive turtle problem in Britain as well for the same reasons. I note that the article didn't mention the main stimulus for the problem, a certain children's cartoon at the turn of the nineties.

It's definitely true here as they were a pretty rare pet earlier.
