Spent the better part of the day trying to get this computer to load.

Critical update my ass. It'd get to 95% and then freeze. Had to do a heck of a lot of troubleshooting and I'm still not sure what the problem was, how I fixed it, or whether or not it's really fixed at all.

I feel your pain. I spent all day long fighting with my computer at work. I'm starting to miss typewriters.

That update took over an hour to run on my Asus laptop, stayed at 27% for I don't know how long. But it did finish. And then there was a smaller update the next day.

Ai-yi-yi. Mine eventually decided not to upload and now occasionally is pestering me for my windows registration which... I mean... this is an old computer. I don't have that.

Download all necessary shit onto a flash drive, get a new computer, upload. I mean, at this point I think I'm gonna have to get a new computer anyway, so.

I would laugh out load and roll around the floor if I weren't at work thinking about copying all my necessary stuff onto a flash drive!  My iMac requires a 3 TB drive for backups, my laptop 500 gigs!

LOL! Luckily I mostly only ever use this computer for the internet. It is old, too.
